Bit-A-Swissy was the home to a "Lillabit" of Dog...our foundation.  Right now we share our home with her Mountain "Ranger", his baby "Rodeo", and our new little Nugget Drouhin!  The dogs live in Colorado south of Denver.  There is no better place to live with a mountain dog than in Colorado!

We are happy to announce that Ruger and Ursa produced a beautiful litter of 8 on August 15, 2016

The puppies are all placed and living in their new homes...with one joining Bit-A-Swissy.

Watch for Drouhin (Pine Grove's A Bit Of Red Red Wine) as he grows!  Drouhin has been a fun addition to the family and we look forward to many Swissy and AKC Events in the Future.

Ruger stepped into the Group Ring for the First time in June and walked out with a Group 3 placement, and made the cut on day 2.  We are so pleased with this boy!

As of the end of September 2016, Ruger is ranked in the Top 20 for All Breed and Breed for GSMD

2016 has been a fun year for us so far.  Bub, Ruger and Rodeo are all Grand Champions!

The Denver Cluster was a good one for us.  Ruger was Select Dog 2 days, and Rodeo was Select Bitch 2 days, and Best of Opposite 1 day!

Bub returned to the Ring in April to lock in that last Select Dog for his GCH

Ruger and Rodeo went BOB and BOS in June for Ruger's GCH and Rodeo's -1 point GCH :)

In July Rodeo went to the Mountains to earn that last GCH point with Back to Back BOS wins in eagle!

We are still more than thrilled that Ruger was BW/WD a the Independent Show in September, and made the FINAL cut at the National his first time in the Breed Ring!

Bub and Rodeo made the First cut at the National and both tried a little herding!  Rodeo also earned 2 legs towards her Novice Pack title!

Ranger did great in Veterans, and placed 2nd in the Independent Stud Dog Class!  He also won the Veteran Weight Pull Class at both shows!

At this time we do not have any litters planned in the near or far future.  The stud dogs on these pages are available to approved bitches in the future.  Please feel free to contact us should you have an interest in knowing more about our dogs or breeder recommendations.
