Bit-A-Swissy was the home to a "Lillabit" of Dog...our foundation.  Right now we share our home with her Mountain "Ranger", his baby "Rodeo", and our new little Nugget Drouhin!  The dogs live in Colorado south of Denver.  There is no better place to live with a mountain dog than in Colorado!

We have been a little busy here at Bit-A-Swissy with the addition last year of Drouhin (or more known as Nugget).  We are beyond thrilled with what a great boy he is - and he has fit right into our home from day 1.

In February he entered his first show at 6 months of age and walked out of the ring with 4 RWD's to major's.  He was such a good little show boy.  At 9 months we went to the National Specialty where he was Best of Opposite in the Puppy Match, Winners Dog and Best Puppy in the Regular classes, Grand Futurity Winner and Best in Sweeps in the Independent Specialty!  What a trip....

He returned to the ring on and off since these wins in May to finish his Championship in July at 11 months of age.

At 13 months he Won Best in Show Sweepstakes at the Working Group show in Utah.

He also snuck in two Rally Novice Legs, and his 1st HCT leg with Sheep.

Although he is a nice show dog, we are working now on his CGC, RN and herding through 2017 while he grows and matures...Look for him back in the ring in 2018

CH Pine Grove's a Bit of Red Red Wine

We are happy to announce that Ruger and Ursa produced a beautiful litter of 8 on August 15, 2016

The puppies are all placed and living in their new homes...with one joining Bit-A-Swissy.

Watch for Drouhin (Pine Grove's A Bit Of Red Red Wine) as he grows!  Drouhin has been a fun addition to the family and we look forward to many Swissy and AKC Events in the Future.

At this time we do not have any litters planned in the near or far future.  The stud dogs on these pages are available to approved bitches in the future.  Please feel free to contact us should you have an interest in knowing more about our dogs or breeder recommendations.
