Chali is our 11 year old lab that came to live with us when she was 5, and Lillabit was a year old.  Having been raised by my parents, she was used to being an only dog and has since realized she is part of a pack!

But mostly she just likes to sleep - in any position she wants to.

Chali was diagnosed with diabetes in April 2006, and was completely blind in less than 6 months.  She received surgery to correct her sight, and within a few months was diagnosed with Glaucoma.  As a result, Chali has lost her left eye and is about 95% blind in her right.  She hears (different than listens) just fine, and her smell is spot on.  She is a little limited in her activity where she is not familiar, but does quite well on her walks and around the house.  A BONK here and there - especially when we do not put things away!

Ranger is her BEST friend in the world...
