Ranger is pretty proud of his 2nd year competing in the Top 20 event - and coming home with the People's Choice award!

Thanks to Todd for handling Ranger in the show, and for all the people there who agreed with us that Ranger ROCKS!!!!

He is happy to be home and back in the local ring where he continues to have fun showing

He sure is a great part of this family!

Ranger ended 2010 #14 in Breed points in the country and #9 in All-Breed points.  This is his 3rd year in the top 20!  We will slow down a little in 2011 in order to do some human things, but when possible he will be out at the shows with Mike!

In November 2010 in Pueblo Ranger finished his Grand Championship with Mike!

Ranger is our Big Boy out of our girl Lillabit and Bodhi (Ch Moon Valley's Major Impact)

Pictured here at 10 weeks - he has grown to be a wonderful dog with a comanding head piece, strong chest and rear, decent top line and great movement.  We are thrilled to have produced this great dog - and thank all the judges that also believe he is a great example of the breed.

Ranger started his show career at 3 months by winning the Puppy Match at the 2006 National...Glad he has since learned to stack.

At 4 years old Ranger has had quite a show career.  He has been in the Top 20 for the last three years, ending 2008 at #12 and ranked at #18 in 2009.  As of July he is ranked #10 in 2010.  Ranger qualified for Eukanuba in 2008 and came home with the First Award of Excellence!   In the Fall of 2009 Ranger took his first Group Placement to rank him #18 in All Breed points for the year.

Working is something he enjoys, but he does not exceed :)  He is the pretty one!  He earned his Novice Working Pack Dog in 2009, and has dabbled in some herding and weight pull.  He lets his brother Bridger do all the heavy lifting - oh, and his mother.

We have enjoyed watching Ranger and Mike in the ring over the last few years, and hope to continue his success into 2010.  Ranger is locally shown in Colorado by Mike Blanchard, PHA.  Mike has also handled Lillabit throughout her very successful show career.

Ranger enjoyed a trip out west to visit family and was awarded an Award of Merit at the Specialty there - and he made some new friends.
